FAQ's
1. HOW MUCH IS A YARD? 1 cubic
yard is approximately 20 bushels. Most full size pick-up
trucks will haul 1 yard of material.
2. HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY YARDS I NEED?
1 cubic yard will cover an area approximately 100 sq. ft.
(or 10' x 10') 3 inches thick.
3. I HAVE A RANGER SIZE PICK-UP, CAN I HAUL A
YARD? A cubic yard of most material weighs
close to, or over 2000 lbs...so a Ranger size truck will only
haul 1/2 cu.. yard. Mulch is very light however,
your Ranger size truck will easily haul 1 yard of mulch.
4. HOW MUCH SOD WILL I NEED?
Multiply the length x the width of the area and divide by 10.
This equals the total "Rolls" of sod you will need. Some
sod is cut by the sq. yard. You will measure length
x width and then divide by 9 or simply ask us and we will
calculate for you.
